Professor Liu Jingyan and Professor Wu Chenguang of our school were invited to visit the headquarter of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

On September 28th, 2023, Professor Liu Jingyan, Professor Wu Chenguang and the delegation of our school were invited to visit the headquarters of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and had in-depth exchanges with Ms. Clara van der Pol - Director of the Statistics Department of UNWTO, and colleagues from the Statistics Department and the Asia-Pacific Department.

In the seminar with the statistics team of UNWTO, Professor Wu Chenguang shared the achievements of the School of Business in the fields of measurement of sustainable tourism (MST) and tourism demand forecasting, and Professor Liu Jingyan made suggestions on future collaboration directions such as the research on sustainable tourism satellite account (STSA). Director Clara fully affirmed the relevant research results and future collaboration intentions. The two sides had an in-depth and fruitful exchange on further collaboration between the School of Business and UNWTO.

Subsequently, Professor Liu Jingyan and Professor Wu Chenguang visited the Asia-Pacific Department of UNWTO and exchanged views with their teams.

Professor Xiao Jinghua of our school delivered a report at the 19th International Symposium on Global Manufacturing and China (GMC 2023)

From September 9th to 10th, 2023, the 19th International Symposium on Global Manufacturing and China (GMC 2023) was held in Qiushi Lecture Hall, Zhejiang University. Professor Xiao Jinghua of our school delivered a keynote report on "Double Leaps: Digital Transformation and Adaptive Innovation of Manufacturing Enterprises in Chinese Context" at the symposium.

On September 23rd - National Science Popularization Day, the project team of Jing Bian program of Sun Yat-sen University, supported by Meituan Takeout Qingshan Public Welfare Special Fund of China Environmental Protection Foundation, jointly held the "Jing Bian - Marine Wetland Art Festival" with the Pearl River Estuary Chinese White Dolphin National Nature Reserve, Guangdong Qi'ao-Dangan Island Provincial Nature Reserve and Zhuhai Ecological Environment Bureau High-tech Branch. Jointly advocated the concept of ecological civilization and actively participating in the construction of Chinese-style modernization featuring harmonious coexistence between man and nature. "People's Daily" and "Guangming Daily" reported the "Jing Bian - Marine Wetland Art Festival" led by Associate Professor Li Meiyun.

On the afternoon of September 9, the Inaugural Ceremony of the Medical and Health Alumni Association of Business School, Sun Yat-sen University was held in the south campus.

Secretary Zhong Yibiao delivered a speech. He said that as an important part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Sun Yat-sen University had rich and powerful resources for education, research and social service in the field of health care.

Next, the First Council member appointment ceremony of Medical and health Alumni Association of School of Business was held. The school leadership issued Appointment Letters to the honorary President, Advisor, President, Executive President and Vice President of the Council.

Professor Liu Jingyan - President of the first Council, expressed her gratitude to the alumni and students for their strong support for the establishment of Medical and health Alumni Association of School of Business.

Shi Shaobin - Executive President of council, expressed his gratitude in his speech for the trust from the school leaders and the support from alumni in the Alumni Association processing. He said that he would cooperate with the platform sources of Medical and health Alumni Association, strive to complete the task of uniting alumni, uniting faculties and students, sharing wisdom and serving the society.

Huang Ruimin - director of the School's Education Development and Alumni Affairs Office of Sun Yat-sen University, mentioned that in the course of human development, diseases challenges will never end. And only the all-around development of good medical and health care can provide fundamental health assurance for human beings.

After the Inaugural Ceremony, Professor of pharmacology of Sun Yat-sen University Yan Guangmei, winner of the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the special allowance of The State Council, member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, brought the theme forum of "Well-off Era: Blood lipid and sub-health Management".

Round table interactive linked the theme on how to build high quality of health management services.

On the evening of May 17th, 2023, Zhu Zifang - Vice president and Secretary-General, and Li Yonggru - Deputy Secretary-General of Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and representatives of Beijing Xinghua CPA Firm (special general partnership) Guangdong branch, Guangdong Zhongsui CPA Firm, Guangzhou Dagong CPA Firm, Zhitong CPA Firm (special general partnership) Guangzhou Branch, Huaye Xiangyang (Guangdong) CPA firm (general partnership), Anli Huayue (Guangdong) CPA Firm (special general partnership), Guangdong Zhengrui CPA Firm (general partnership), Guangzhou Deyong CPA Firm, Guangdong Sinong CPA Firm (Special general partnership) and other firms visited the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and hold a symposium on the grant donation of Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Professor Zhang Junsheng - Associate Dean of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhang Yifang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Yuanhuai - Director of the Office of Alumni Affairs, Mu Xin - Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Career Development, and representatives of aided students participated in the discussion.

The 2023 Chorus Competition of "forging ahead on the new journey and making greater contributions in the new era" of Sun Yat-sen University was held in Zhongshan Hall, Shenzhen Campus on May 19th and May 20th.

Our school actively prepared and organized, and Zhang Yifang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our school, led a chorus team composed of 39 faculties and students in all grades. After fierce competition, the faculties and students choir of our school stood out among the 50 participating teams in the university with excellent performance and won the first prize and the Excellent Conductor Award in the competition.

In May 2023, the Committee of the Communist Youth League, Sun Yat-sen University carried out the evaluation of the Communist Youth League from 2022 to 2023 among the organizations of the Communist Youth League and individuals. After several rounds of selection, the Youth League Committee of the School of Business was awarded the title of "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee of Sun Yat-sen University"; Xilin Zhu, undergraduate student enrolled in 2019, and Li Zirong, undergraduate enrolled in 2021 was awarded the title of "Excellent Youth League Member of Sun Yat-sen University"; Ziyi Li, undergraduate student enrolled in 2020 was awarded the title of "Excellent Youth League Cadre of Sun Yat-sen University";

在新时代团组织工作实践中，99499www威尼斯团委首先稳抓组织建设，通过常态化培养纳新、组织化推进转接、一体化党团班建设三管齐下的方式，实现团员报到率、团干入驻率、组织关系转入率三个百分百。同时，99499www威尼斯团委依托“三联结、四融合、五个一”工作体系，创新党团班建设形式，成功举办优秀党员一对一指导团支部活动100余次。团组织中团员推优人数达到120人，真正做到了把先进团员推荐给党组织，为党组织输送新鲜健康血液。

99499www威尼斯团委坚持选优配强骨干队伍。团委骨干100%提交入党申请书，团委委员100%获奖学金；指导学生会、研究生会组织发挥服务同学合力，两个组织分别荣获本年度优秀学生会和优秀研究生会的荣誉称号；此外还召集了6次组织化专题学习，使述职评议工作常态化。

党旗所指，团旗所向，青年所趋。在日常工作中，99499www威尼斯团委积极引导青年与新时代同频共振。团委通过“六位一体”大力推进“青年大学习”；主持开展了322场主题团日活动，覆盖2万余人。此外，学院团委还在七一、二十大等多个关键节点发挥主观能动性，积极开展学习活动，掀起党史学习热潮，实现了68个团支部、6大主题、100%完成率的圆满效果，使青年学子真正将思想深植于头脑。

凝心聚力，颂论行传，铸魂育人。99499www威尼斯团委连续29年开展“百歌颂中华”活动，累计参与人次超4万人，辐射人数达10万人，“百歌颂中华”活动荣获2022年广东省“灯塔工程”精品项目。此外，99499www威尼斯团委连续开展了10期习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想理论研修班暨青马学堂，覆盖人次超过8千人，该项目获评2022广东省优秀学生工作案例一等奖。同时，学院团委还开展了4期优秀学生骨干训练营，有效提升了学生干部的思想觉悟与工作能力。另外，“管院学声”公众号在传播青年声音的阵地上发挥了重大作用，公众号以学生喜闻乐见的形式传递学子之声、引领青年思想，取得了丰硕成果：年度刊稿量80篇，其中1篇被人民日报转发，阅读量近4万。

党有号召，团有行动。99499www威尼斯团委积极响应党的号召，注重培养学生的思想力，积极开展公益活动，为社会福利事业贡献力量。16年间，“团委+支部+公益平台”体系不断完善，聚焦“三力”，五育并举。从烈日下“志汇广交”，累计服务人数超十万人；到疫情中活跃“疫”线，8小时完成200人志愿者招募组建，参与流调电话3700通，获得海珠区团委的书面好评。急难险重新面前，99499www威尼斯团委迎难而上，超过330名团员参与疫情防控、累计服务超过3000小时，冯绪获评贵州省防疫先进个人，为防疫工作贡献了管院力量。除此之外，在时代召唤之下，我院还有许多优秀毕业生光荣入伍，投身西部，我院也因此荣获2022年征兵工作先进单位称号。这些都是99499www威尼斯团委弘扬奉献精神，凝聚公益力量的生动体现。

习近平总书记勉励青年学子：“新时代中国青年要增强学习紧迫感，如饥似渴、孜孜不倦地学习。”为响应习近平总书记号召，99499www威尼斯注重培养学生的学习力，团委围绕基础、提升、拓展三维度，构建完整的学术活动体系，“科研小助理” “本科生论文大赛”等活动持续举办了6年，荣获 2021年广东省优秀学生工作案例一等奖。管院学子也在各项赛事中斩获了丰硕的成果，包括创新创业大赛国际奖项3项、省级以上奖项35项，2项“攀登计划”立项。“榜样领航，教学相长”，荣获校精品服务项目立项。除此之外，99499www威尼斯团委急青年之所急，举办了高数辅导班、升学系列指导等活动25场，关注青年所思、所忧、所盼，为梦想插上翅膀。

课堂学习之外，99499www威尼斯团委注重培养学生的行动力，依托“1+N”劳动教育机制，通过志愿劳动彼此聚力，厚植青年劳动精神。从7次企业参访为青春搏击注入动能；到i志愿平台注册率100%，连续16年关爱听障儿童；再到30次实践教育，128场次体育活动，蝉联三届女篮总冠军……管院学子文明精神，野蛮体魄，实现德智体美劳全面发展，综合素质不断提升。

On April 15th, 2023, the 29th Rhythm for China Grand Art and Cultural Show of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held in No. 6 of Lan Yuan, East Campus of Guangzhou Campus. More than 900 representatives of school leaders, faculties, students and alumni attended the event.

With the theme of "from the heart", the Rhythm for China of this year has three chapters: "country in my heart", "dreams in my heart" and "future in my heart". The final chorus "my Future is not a dream" by the leaders, guests, faculties, students and alumni brought the party to the climax, which vividly conveyed the firm confidence in the future and the new journey of pursuing dreams.

The Rhythm for China of this year has set up the best organization award, the best theme award, the best creativity award, the best styling award, the best charisma award, the best popularity award and other awards. The award presenters and representatives of the winning programs took photos in the center of the stage.

On March 17th, 2023, the 10th National Humanities and Social Sciences Evaluation Summit Forum and the press conference of Journal Evaluation Report sponsored by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies was held in Beijing. The forum officially released the AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Report of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals (2022) and the AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Report of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Collection Journals (2022). The Quarterly Journal of Management published by our school was awarded the core of the collection by "AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals in 2022".

The discipline of Management has included a total of 8 academic collection journals, 2 of which have been awarded as the core. And the Quarterly Journal of Management is one of the two core collection journals of the discipline of Management.

The Quarterly Journal of Management has been consecutively included in the Chinese Social Science Citation (CSSCI) Source Collection Journals since January 2017, and was consecutively included in the recommended list of high quality journals in Management Science by FMS from 2020 to 2022, and was included in the AMBA-Cabells journal directory in 2021.

Recently, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education released the list of second batch of industry-university cooperative education project approved in 2022. Among them was the project of "lexiangla.com: Incentive, Trust and Co-creation Mechanism for Web 3.0 Application within the Organization" which's led by Associate Professor Liang Jianping - Director of Chen Ruiqiu Asia-Pacific Case Development and Research Center of the School of Business. At present, the School of Business has signed a contract with Tencent on the industry-university cooperative education project of the Ministry of Education in 2022, and will carry out industry-university cooperation on the industry-university cooperative education project of the Ministry of Education "Teaching Content and Curriculum System Reform" focusing on the theme "lexiangla.com: Incentive, Trust and Co-creation Mechanism for Web 3.0 Application within the Organization".
